Trade & Fabricator Supply

Account supply for fabrication shops, dealers and builders: held stock, consistent face matching across repeat orders, and delivery on your production schedule.

Overview

Trade & Fabricator Supply in Metro Vancouver.

If you cut slabs or lay tile for a living, what you need from a supplier is boring in the best way: the material is there when you said you'd collect it, the second order matches the first, and nobody has to chase anybody. We hold stock on the North Shore across slabs, tile and 20 mm paving, keep face and batch records against your account, and schedule delivery around your production calendar rather than ours.

What a trade account gets you

Supply that fits around your shop.

Held stock, locally

Material sits on the North Shore rather than on a container. When a job moves forward two weeks, the slabs or the pallets can move with it.

Face and batch records on the account

We log which faces and which dye lots went out on which job, so a callback or a phase-two order doesn't arrive looking subtly different from phase one.

Delivered to your bay, on your date

Crated, strapped and delivered when your saw is free, not when it suits our route. We confirm the slot with your shop directly.

Straight answers on lead time

If something is on the water and won't land for five weeks, you'll hear that before you quote it, not after you've promised it to a client.

How the account works

Set it up once, then it's routine.

  1. 01

    Open the account

A short conversation about the volume and collections you typically run, and the formats and thicknesses you want us to keep on hand.

  2. 02

    Quote by job

Send the job and we come back with slab or box count, faces available and a firm price, usually same day, so you can put your own quote out.

  3. 03

    Reserve against the job

Material is tagged to your job number and held, so it's ring-fenced while the client makes up their mind.

  4. 04

    Delivery to your schedule

We crate and deliver into your bay on the agreed date, and take the packaging away with us.

Who this is for

A trade account suits you if…

  • You run a fabrication shop and want porcelain stock held locally rather than ordered per job.
  • You're a tile contractor who needs field tile and trim from one batch, delivered to site.
  • You're a kitchen or bath dealer specifying surfaces and want one supplier to quote against.
  • You're a builder running multiple units and need consistent material across phases.

From the trade

What shops and designers say.

“Good stock and fair pricing on a trade account, across slabs and pallets of tile both. One order slipped a few days waiting on a container, but they called ahead rather than leaving me to find out.”
Gordon McIverBuilder, Surrey
“I specify a lot of porcelain and the hard part is knowing which faces a collection actually runs, and in which formats. These are the only people locally who will walk you through that properly instead of guessing, and it's why my floor tile and my counter finally match.”
Derek OyelaranInterior designer, Vancouver
“They sent me home with a proper offcut instead of a little sample chip, which completely changed which colour we went with. The floor tile, the bullnose and the trim all came from the same batch, so nothing had to be fudged on site.”
Annette BrillBathroom project, West Vancouver

Trade FAQ

Questions from the trade.

Do you compete with your fabricator customers?

No. We don't cut, template or install anything. Supply is the entire business. Nothing we do puts us on the other side of a quote from a shop that buys from us.

What are the minimums?

There aren't hard minimums for an account. Pricing improves with volume, and we'll tell you plainly where the next break sits rather than making you guess.

Can you hold material against a job that hasn't closed?

Yes, that's the normal case. We tag it to your job number and hold it for an agreed window so you're not gambling on stock still being there when the client signs.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

Tell us before it's cut or laid and we replace it. Transit damage is ours to sort out; we'd far rather swap a slab than have you working around a flaw.

Do you deliver outside Metro Vancouver?

Our delivery area is the Lower Mainland. Beyond that it becomes a freight question. Ask and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it for the volume involved.
