3 and 6 mm are for walls and cladding, thin enough to go over existing tile. 6.5 and 12 mm are the general-purpose floor and countertop thicknesses. 20 mm is for outdoors, driveways and heavy traffic. A collection listed in more than one is available in all of them, which is how an indoor floor and a patio end up matching.
Yes, and you should. Book a viewing and we'll have them out. Veined material in particular looks quite different at full size than it does on a screen, and a 12×24 tile and a 24×48 of the same face give a room two very different scales.
Porcelain graphics are printed across a limited set of repeating faces, so variation is controlled rather than random. For a large kitchen we check which faces your slabs run and map them against your layout; for tile we keep you inside one dye lot and order the trim from the same batch.
On the collections that run both thicknesses, yes: same graphic, different body. It's worth asking early, because not every face is produced in 20 mm and it's much easier to design around that before the drawings are finished.
Welch Street is fifteen minutes from the Second Narrows, and viewings are by appointment so the material is out and lit when you arrive.
