Tile & Paving Supply

Large-format porcelain floor and wall tile, trim and 20 mm outdoor paving from Italian and Spanish mills, stocked in North Vancouver up to 1600×3200 mm.

Overview

Tile & Paving Supply in Metro Vancouver.

The same mills that press our slabs press the tile that goes with them, and we stock both. Floor and wall porcelain from 12×24 inch up to 1600×3200 mm panels, bullnose and trim, and 20 mm outdoor paving rated to sit on gravel, grass, sand or a raised pedestal system. Because it comes off the same production runs, a bathroom floor can genuinely match the vanity top instead of nearly matching it.

Why buy tile here

One mill, floor to counter to patio.

Matched across formats

A single travertine collection can run as a 48×110 inch panel, a 24×48, a 12×24 and a bullnose. Floor, shower niche and countertop can be the same material rather than three near-misses.

20 mm that goes outside

Two-centimetre porcelain is frost-proof and UV-stable, and installs dry: on gravel, on sand, straight onto grass, or on adjustable pedestals over a roof deck. It lifts back out if you ever need to reach what's underneath.

Indoor and outdoor in one face

Several collections run the same graphic in a thin interior tile and a 20 mm exterior paver. Kitchen floor and patio read as one continuous surface through the doors instead of stopping at the threshold.

Trim that actually exists

Bullnose, skirting and step treads are ordered from the same batch as the field tile. Sourcing trim afterwards is where tile projects usually come unstuck.

How buying works

From square footage to pallets on site.

  1. 01

    Send the areas

Rough square footage per room, plus whether it's floor, wall, wet area or outdoors. That's enough for us to rule out the collections that aren't rated for the job.

  2. 02

    See it laid out

Book a viewing and we'll put the field tile and the trim together on the floor. A 12×24 and a 24×48 of the same face give a room two very different scales.

  3. 03

    Quantities and overage

We work out boxes, coverage and a sensible cut allowance, normally ten percent, more for a diagonal or herringbone layout, so you aren't two boxes short of a dye lot that's gone.

  4. 04

    Delivered to site

Palletised and delivered to your tiler or your site across Metro Vancouver, on a date we book with whoever is laying it.

Who this is for

Tile and paving supply suits you if…

  • You're tiling a floor, a bathroom or a whole home and want the material to match the countertop.
  • You're building a patio, roof deck or pool surround and want a surface that won't rot, fade or need sealing.
  • You're a tiler or a builder who wants one supplier for field tile and trim in the same batch.
  • You're a designer specifying a single collection across several formats in one project.

From the floor up

What tile buyers say.

“Needed 20 mm for a roof deck and they were straight with me about which collections are actually rated for it rather than just selling me the one I liked. It went down on pedestals, and it matches the tile running through the doors.”
Priya RaghunathanOutdoor project, Coquitlam
“They sent me home with a proper offcut instead of a little sample chip, which completely changed which colour we went with. The floor tile, the bullnose and the trim all came from the same batch, so nothing had to be fudged on site.”
Annette BrillBathroom project, West Vancouver
“Good stock and fair pricing on a trade account, across slabs and pallets of tile both. One order slipped a few days waiting on a container, but they called ahead rather than leaving me to find out.”
Gordon McIverBuilder, Surrey

Tile & paving FAQ

Questions about tile and outdoor paving.

Do you install the tile?

No. We supply the material and deliver it to your tiler or your site. If you don't have an installer yet, tell us the job and we'll point you at people who lay large-format porcelain regularly. It's a different skill from laying 12×12s and worth getting right.

Can 20 mm pavers really go straight onto grass or gravel?

Yes, and it's one of the reasons people choose them. Level and compact the ground, put a bed of gravel down, and lay the pavers with a generous joint. On a roof deck they sit on adjustable pedestals so rainwater drains underneath and the pavers lift out for access.

Will my indoor tile match the outdoor paving?

On the collections that run both, yes: same graphic, same batch, different thickness. Ask when you're choosing, because not every face is produced in 20 mm and it's much easier to design around that up front.

How much extra should I order?

Ten percent over the measured area for a straight lay, fifteen for diagonal or herringbone, and a little more again for a room with a lot of cuts. Porcelain runs in dye lots, so topping up months later rarely gives you an exact match.

Is large-format tile harder to lay?

It's less forgiving. A 48×110 inch panel needs a genuinely flat substrate, a levelling system and usually two people with suction cups. We'll tell you honestly when a smaller format is the better call for the room you've got.

Do you supply trim pieces?

Yes. Bullnose, skirting and step nosings, ordered alongside the field tile from the same production. It's worth ordering them together; matching trim to a field tile after the fact is a well-known way to lose a week.

Bring the room dimensions and we'll lay the field tile and the trim out together. Scale is the thing photographs never get right.
